Polymarket, a popular crypto prediction platform, has teamed up with Chainlink to make its market predictions faster and more accurate. The news comes as Polymarket returns to the U.S. after getting the green light from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
According to the press release, The deal will focus first on asset pricing markets, where Chainlink’s real-time data will help settle predictions quickly. The integration is already live on Polygon’s mainnet, giving users secure markets with hundreds of crypto trading pairs.
Chainlink provides data that is timestamped, verified, and easy to check. Using Chainlink Automation, Polymarket can now settle markets automatically on the blockchain. This means predictions like Bitcoin price moves can be resolved fast and fairly. Chainlink said the system reduces reliance on social voting and lowers the chance of mistakes.
Sergey Nazarov, co-founder of Chainlink, said, “Polymarket’s decision to integrate Chainlink’s proven oracle infrastructure is a pivotal milestone that greatly enhances how prediction markets are created and settled.”
Polymarket’s move is part of a bigger plan to grow in the U.S. The platform recently bought QCEX, a CFTC-licensed exchange, for $112 million, which opened the door to U.S. operations.

Notably, Chainlink’s work on a network of independent nodes helps keep the data accurate and secure. So far, it has handled nearly $100 billion in DeFi value and supported trillions in transactions.
Polymarket will start with crypto price predictions and hopes to add other types of predictions soon. The two companies are also exploring ways to settle harder-to-measure questions while keeping outcomes automatic and fair.
