Bitget Marks 7 Years with Launch of Universal Exchange Era

Bitget, a global crypto exchange, announced on Tuesday that it is marking its seven year anniversary with the launch of the Universal Exchange Era, a new phase designed to merge centralized and decentralized services with advanced security and artificial intelligence.

The company said the Universal Exchange, or UEX, will support not only cryptocurrencies but also stocks, ETFs, gold and forex, creating a single platform for users worldwide. In recent months, Bitget added support for Ethereum, BSC, Base and Solana assets, while also partnering with xStocks and Ondo Finance to bring tokenized stocks and ETFs to the platform.

Bitget also introduced stock futures that include major companies like Apple and Nvidia, expanding its reach beyond digital tokens. The exchange said this move follows its long term vision to break the “impossible triangle” of user experience, asset variety and security.

“Our growth over the past seven years is based on a methodical approach used to build an infrastructure that serves the evolving needs of traders, investors and institutions,” said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget. She added that the company is shifting toward “providing easier access and clean integration of emerging finance into daily lives.”

A key part of the Universal Exchange is GetAgent, an AI tool that delivers insights and strategies in real time, helping users act quickly and efficiently. Alongside this, Bitget’s automated trading bots are designed to reduce the gap between analysis and execution.

Notably, the company’s native token, BGB, is trading around $4.98, a 0.33% slip after the announcement. However, data shows it has posted 1.4% in the past week and over 10% in the past month.
