Cloudflare Outage Disrupts Crypto Sites and Social Platforms

Cloudflare said its global network had issues on Nov. 18, 2025 and the problem stopped many people from reaching websites. The outage began around midday UTC and affected crypto sites and social platforms.

Soon after, Cloudflare said it found the cause and worked on a fix. The company also said it was watching the system to be sure the issue was gone.

Meanwhile, the outage made it hard for users to reach the front end of major crypto platforms. People reported problems on Coinbase and Blockchain.com along with BitMEX and Ledger. Others said they could not load Toncoin Arbiscan or DefiLlama.

Users also had trouble reaching X and Truth Social. However, Kraken reported that a fix had been applied and that access was returning. Later, Cloudflare confirmed this, stating “we believe the incident is now resolved” after releasing a repair and checking the network. The company added that it would keep monitoring until everything looked stable again.

Cloudflare shared many updates during the event. At first it said it was “continuing to investigate this issue” as error rates grew. Later it said it had “identified” the problem and was applying a fix.

During that step, Cloudflare disabled WARP access in London which meant users there could not connect. Soon after the company said Access and WARP were working again and that both services had returned to earlier levels. Then it restored more tools including the dashboard which let some customers log in again.

Notably, the outage did not hit every platform. BlueSky and Reddit stayed online and users said both worked as normal. Still the incident showed how one company’s network issue can create a wide impact.

That said, Cloudflare noted that it would keep checking its systems to avoid more problems and remind users that updates would follow on its status page.
