EA Co-Founder Bing Gordon Joins Sui Foundation as Advisor

Bing Gordon, co-founder of Electronic Arts and longtime game executive, has joined the Sui Foundation as an advisor.

The announcement came after CCP Games, creators of EVE Online, picked Sui as the blockchain partner for its new space game, EVE Frontier. Gordon will help guide Sui’s gaming projects by sharing his decades of knowledge on how to make games that people love to play.

Gordon has worked in gaming for more than forty years. He spent twenty-six years at Electronic Arts, helping shape classic titles like The Sims, SimGolf, and The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth.

He also serves on the board of Take-Two Interactive, the studio behind Grand Theft Auto. After leaving EA, he joined Kleiner Perkins, a venture capital firm, where he supported start-ups through the sFund, an initiative that focused on social web applications.

Christian Thompson, Managing Director of Sui Foundation, said, “Sui’s gaming world is about to get a major boost thanks to Bing’s deep experience in gaming and tech. He has always been ahead of the curve, and the teams building on Sui will benefit from his guidance.”

In his own words, Gordon said, “Building the next big thing in gaming takes more than hype. It takes teams that understand how to create fun experiences and the right technology to keep players coming back. Sui has both, and that’s what makes it stand out.”

His appointment adds to Sui’s growing list of gaming milestones. The network recently revealed projects like EVE Frontier, the first-person shooter XOCIETY, whose demo topped the Epic Games Store, and the launch of its new gaming device, SuiPlay0X1.

This move shows how gaming is changing fast. Many top game makers are now trying out blockchain to bring new ideas to players. Platforms like Solana and Sui let players not only play games but also own and use the things they earn in fun new ways.
