PancakeSwap Adds Solana for Easy Cross-Chain Token Swaps

PancakeSwap has added Solana to its cross-chain swap feature, letting users swap tokens between seven blockchains in one click. The update includes Ethereum, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Base, ZKsync, Linea, and now Solana.

According to the press release, Users can move assets without leaving PancakeSwap or using external bridges, making multichain trading much simpler. The new feature uses Relay to handle transfers and transactions usually completed in under a minute.

With Solana support, PancakeSwap users can bridge assets between different blockchains in a single step. There are no extra fees beyond PancakeSwap’s usual trading rates, but Relay charges a clear bridge fee before a swap is confirmed. The integration works directly on PancakeSwap’s swap page, letting users move tokens across blockchains in one place

Relay, the network powering this feature, has already handled more than 55 million transactions, moved about $6 billion, and served over 5 million users across 75 blockchains since its launch in 2024.

On Ethereum, Relay handles about three transactions per block, which is around 0.7% of all activity. The system makes it faster and easier to send tokens between Solana and EVM-based blockchains.

PancakeSwap said the update helps reduce the complexity of multichain trading. A spokesperson said, “At PancakeSwap, our mission is to make DeFi simple, fast, and accessible to everyone, no matter what chain you’re on. Adding Solana support is a big step forward in that journey.” Users can now swap tokens from Solana to other chains and back in one smooth flow.

This move comes as many DeFi platforms are working on ways to connect different blockchains more smoothly. With this update, PancakeSwap lets users swap tokens across networks quickly and at low cost through Relay, giving them a direct option without switching apps.
